Further to my previous post regarding access to the EGR valve; the reason I suspect the EGR is based on previous experience of the exact same symptoms on a different car. If I push the car hard,eg steep hill,it will suddenly hesitate and go into limp mode. If I then switch off and back on the problem has cleared.

Anyway, I have run the Multiscan diagnostic tool and get the following message .(I forget the error code). Does anyone have experience of this fault and can point me in the right direction?

Boost pressure sensor A circuit low. Check the following:
- Turbine actuator or turbine faulty
- Supercharging pressure sensor out of calibration
- Atmospheric pressure sensor (inside control unit) faulty
The fault is intermittent. Clear fault codes, and observe for future appearance of the same fault. Dashboard warning light was activated for this fault.
