So last week i was harassed into buying a rear (lower)seat for the 500c as the wife wanted one that didnt have cigarette burns in understandably - saw a 'perfect match' on ebay and bought it for a very good price...
Picked it up looked it over and perfect, no marks apart from a bit of dust etc

anyway get back...the seat is about 10mm too long and it doesnt quite fit as it is a different part number with padding in the base in slightly different places.
So i will have a seat for sale if anyone wants it Gray with Black styling dated 2008...no damage
If anyone has a grey rear seat (lower) p/n 07355557120 suitable for a 2012 pop 500c we are still looking out for one

So please find attached photos of the rear seat i have bought - that don't quite fit. The leather styling is black - if anyone would like it - please make an offer/drop me a line - it will be collection only - although i might be able to meet part way depending where you are coming from -
Seat is in good condition, a mark that im certain will clean out - look to be soil/mud just where the back of a knee would be - not photographed but can add it if needed. Looks to be an 08 seat so whether it was just to early for my 2012 id dont know.
Ill be putting it on ebay in a few days if nobody wants it or i don't get a reasonable offer.
excuse dishevelled house paint work - we are re-decorating/renovating currently.

The age shouldn't be a problem as theres been no changes to the shape or fitting of the seats as far as I'm awar through the years of production

Unsure if there any difference between the 500c seats and the normal ones

I should have taken a photo of the base before i put mine back....a bloke on youtube just told me there is a difference between the 500c and a 500. My own fault really. But actually thew one i have now is a decent seat....I thought i might be able to take the cover off and use that but again a slight difference on the sides
Might remove the base again tomorrow to take a photo of the underside to put on here.
Here is the label/part number anyway
chris3234 the older seat was about 10mm wider..i dont think that would have been too much of an issue but the seat/bolt holders at the front then didnt line up with the fixed in-car base holes.

what do the Posz codes mean?

If it isn't too wide, can't you modify the holes in the seat with an adapter to make them fit?
These bolts in the front don't have to hold much, they only prevent the seat from flopping up and down.

Possibly, but the underside of the seat sponge is different too as is the shape of the material.
Think the wife is just going to have to live with it for now.
