Hi all,

Has anyone swapped out an air con control switch? My button hardly illuminates when the air con is switched on.

Having removed the front panel, you can easily see the control switch. It looks like it can be released by pushing three small lugs back and withdrawing the switch, attached to two multi plug cables.



Not sure if it’s that simple…

Can't say I've seen anybody on here change one it's not a part that fails often

I have one out of the car. I’ll see if I can find it tomorrow and let you know.

It does indeed unclip and pull out. This one is yours if you want it for postage cost. Just had two electrical connections on the back that also unplug.

So it's not possible to change the bulb in the switch? you will have to replace the entire switch when the bulb blows?
I was hoping to change my bulb for a brighter LED version

It's a built in led I believe rather then a filment bulb

Yes I can confirm after taking this out it’s all one piece.
