Hi Everyone

Unfortunately, our Fiat 500 Twinair 63 plate failed its MOT yesterday.

The issue that it failed on was the warning light coming on indicating stop/start was not working alongside the amber engine light.

Is this a common fault with Fiat 500s? The garage is unable to diagnose the reason this is showing up.

We are no facing a dilemma as to what to do next.

Can anyone recommend a garage in West Yorkshire that are specialists in Fiats.

Thanks in advance.

The start stop light is on because the EML is on

You meet somebody to read the codes as a starting point to see what's wrong I'm surprised the garage can't find any reason for it being on

Ahead of car being looked at by place found above Jamieb0y MOT place hadn't changed oil prior to starting it and car hadn't done more than 5k miles on previous oil?! As I found Uniair can stick (controls the valve gear). Can stop sticking yourself but car may need few restarts from cold and car giving a pasting. Fault cleared on my Panda after 140 miles which is impractical for you probably. Fiat told me car doesn't need to learn new oil in. Not convinced on that.
