Yes. This is probably the best easy upgrade you can do on the 1.2. Tried and tested by your moderator, and others.

NGK DCPR7EIX.

There's a whole thread about this. If you want the full story, go here.

does that NGK code suit ALL of the 1242 500 motors , @2012 up to current 2022..??

no motor revisions since the hike to 69bhp??
They work very well, though they're not an exact match as the OEM 500 plugs have an extended tip for which there's no direct iridium equivalent. As the NGK iridiums don't project quite as far into the cylinder, there are no clearance issues. In the real world, the benefits of the iridium plugs would seem to outweigh those of the OEM copper core projected tip ones.

It's all covered in considerable detail in the earlier linked thread.

For the very latest 1.2 engines, just check the OEM plug spec is still the ZKR7A-10. If it is, then the DCPR7EIX will work just fine.

Just be careful if buying from unknown sellers online; there's a lot of fake rubbish about.

Denso Iridium seem to be @£30 x4

Bosch Iridium are @£8.50 so that £30 will almost buy all 4

Almost as cheap as the old tech NGK's..
So Im giving them a try

Got a vague stutter in cold damp weather .. so they are the 1st thing to suspect

48k on the car , and 18k since FIAT last saw it.. so plugs are potentially poor
