Hello

I'm a newby here. I've just bought a 500 TwinAir. Unfortunately someone got in to it the other night (I'm sure it was locked but...) Anyway, they took my OBCD reader and accesses the panel for the data port. There are now two brown brown/white wires that have been unplugged. I can't find a schematic for these. Can anyone tell me where they plug in?


Also, I have slight issue with the Turbo cutting out. Reading posts on this form, it seems it may be a leak in the Turbo pipework. The error code was P0244. Do people agree with my diagnosis.

Finally the air con/ fan went beserk on the way home on Saturday - wouldn't cool down. I was expecyting the radiator fan to kick in but it didnt. Sounds like electrical issues to me but again, any advice before I dive in would be welcome.

If those two wires are the can wires, hide them away and don't put them back into the obd port.

Can (comminication network) bus wires, ie the two wires that allow communication with the cars ecu's that can allow anyone to override the cars systems including the immobiliser

OK. So the OBD reader is working so they must be Can. Will do as you suggested and tape them up for just now and crack on and try and sort my turbo and heater

The rain stopped so I've managed to spend some time on this car today. It turned out that the Turbo hose wasn't attached at all which explains a lot. I still can't get the fan to run but I'm a cautious type and didnt want to deliberately overheat the engine in case I warped the head. I've taped up those wires and hidden them away. Thanks for the advice John202020

Pretty sure there are ways if triggering the fan just through sensors..

Remove wire from temp sensor..?

Worked on older cars.. but Canbus might have changed things..
