Hi All,

My girlfriend's 2011 TwinAir has a coolant leak from the rear of the engine, it looks to be coming from the MAHLE oil cooler housing.

I'm assuming as the housing is plastic it's degraded and cracked over time through heat and cooldown cycles. Strange that it wasn't made as a metal part as it seems inevitable that it would degrade over time. Unfortunately, it seems this will be a weak point on all TwinAir's as they age.
Apart from that, Great engine!

It looks like there’s two ways to tackle it:

If working from underneath the car on a ramp the following would need to be removed: Aux Belt, Air Con Compressor, Alternator, & Starter Motor before being able to even get to the part.

If tackled from above, With the Engine cover/Air Filter housing removed access to the Oil Cooler looks to be possible, although a few bolts may need some manipulating to be removed.

Has anyone managed to change this part?

Thanks
