Hi there.... I've just joined up with the Forum. It looks great!! Is there any chance you could have a look at this post and see if you can help? I've had a good search but cannot find any detail on this???

The symptoms are that the 5A fuse number F37 keeps blowing. It seems to be linked to the roof being down and braking. I've just put a new fuse in and the 2 side brakes are working but the central brake is not. I've had a look behind the roof lining and have found 2 broken cables. One is black and one is white with a purple stripe. It looks like they have pulled out but I cannot see where from. I've attached some photos. I've pulled back the carpet and can see the wiring in the boot but no sign of connections for the 2 wires mentioned.

It's unusual for manufactures to use cable ties? They almost always have push on fixings could it have been modified before?
Logic says if it's snapped the other end won't be far away unless it's fallen down?
not that unusal my tipo had some push in fixing with a tiw warp attached to the clip holdoing the rear loom in place in the rear boot area

This is in the back corner of the roof on the passengers side behind the plastic facia panel. I'm going to put a volt meter across and see what comes up with 12V. e.g. Brake light / heated rear window.... Not sure what else it could be. Especially as the rear brake light is not working!!
