Hello everyone!

My partner has a really lovely Fiat 500 Riva. When we bought the car (and did our research) she was a little surprised that given it was a special edition with some amazing touches, the front and rear bumper didn't have the chrome inserts like the Lounge has.

I noticed that the rear bumper insert could be removed, so we bought the chrome insert for this, and it looks so much better! Curiously, the three areas where the chrome inserts would go into the front bumper are completely fixed, so we can't do the upgrade, which is really sad.

Can any other owners of the Riva confirm that the areas where the chrome inserts would go into the front bumper are fixed too, or if they move slightly and could be unclipped?

Thank you in advance to anyone who might be able to help!

You could try using a Dremel to cut the tabs off the chrome part and use 3M double sided adhesive to hold it on. That what a couple other people did on this forum on their 500 Pops.

… Thank you Rocco Reviews and Decappottabile

We hadn't thought about removing the tabs, so that might be a way forward if the thickness of the chrome inserts isn't too thick –*great idea!

You're absolutely right, Decappottabile, we cannot remove the colour-coded inserts in the front bumper –*they're fixed. This just seems weird to me, as we were able to unclip the insert in the rear bumper and pop in the chrome one.

It just seems crazy that this very special edition cannot have the chrome front bumper inserts. It would look amazing if it could!

I just wondered is any other Riva owners might have been able to confirm that their front bumper inserts are fixed too.

Best wishes

Post some pics of the car, when you manage to find a way to get them on.
