Parasitic drain on Blue & Me - Danger

Adjustments.JPGSee at the top of the picture. You can see two spot welds. It must have had some rear arch damage done and the welding has set fire to the insulation/sound deadening material which has in turn melted the corner of the blue and me.

Just watched your video you uploaded today can’t believe the mess with the blue & me and the burnt insulation!!
I suppose the welder wasn’t to know what was in there behind the quarter panel but surly they know there is insulation in there!!

Anyway .... did you know ... (different subject) when your replacing the steering wheel cowel screws underneath... blue tack on the end of screwdriver stick screw to it and that gets em in 1st time instead of trying 20 times [emoji23] apology’s if you knew this I just wish I’d known sooner [emoji30][emoji38]

Could that be the type of "Keys" they spot weld on to pull out dents?

I’ve tried that before and it sort of works but I’ve done it so many times now. It’s all about the angle you go in at. I also try and put it all back before the steering wheel goes back on so you can see the screw come through the hole.
