May change a couple of the climate buttons to black but I’m loving what I’ve done!

Well, it looks...different It's a shame we can't swap the window switches for the later style though.

Would look odd in most cars but I think the cream buttons in the black surround look good in your car.

Yeah I know!! I love those round window switches!!! If it was possible I would! For sure!

Yeah that’s what I thought as there is cream on seats & steering wheel .... I tried it all black .. it just didn’t look good [emoji23]

You might consider swapping the gear knob to cream as well:chin:

I must say your d.i.y. infotainment installation looks neater than the factory job in my wife's facelifted 500c. Hers also has the ivory mouldings and wheel, which help with the car's retro effect, but not with a gloss black screen plonked on the top! Your change to black is a great idea. Personally I would like everything black, but the beauty of customising your car is you can have it how you want it, much like choosing paint and furniture for your lounge.

Speaking of shiny chrome; these speaker rings really add a touch of class to the boring grey door trims - expensive but.


I got them from Japan of all places, and I'm waiting on a matching pair for the tweeters.

I like those too. It seems facelift only comes with the two rings but pre facelift you can get all four?

Are they self adhesive?

The guy also offers the set of 4 for pre FL. @ twice the price (no surprise..).
No clue how they are fixed, but from the installation video it looks ad if they are just clipped in.

I've ordered a set of four so I'll let you know.

I have a six piece speaker set coming from Italy [emoji634] including the tweeters ... not looking forward to fitting as it’s hard[emoji38] but I’ve done it before..... & it takes hours ugh but my factory set sound terrible with my new head unit so I don’t have a choice!

they not come yet prob be a few weeks due to virus!

But yes I put the same set in my last 500 the difference was clear!! These factory ones are awful cardboard jobs ? I don’t know how to add a link so put a pic of the ones I’ve used & bought
