So i got my new wheels on today.

Had to use 1" spacers to go from 4 x 100 to 4 x 4.5.

The rims are 14 x 6 Shelby Cal 500's. Magnesium.

Used on late 60's to mid 70's Mustangs.

Looks like a dune buggy and actually rides really nice. And cornering seems better with the 2" wider track. Got fender flares on way !

And dam the Fiat badge looks so much better with the red background.

I do have centre caps with the Shelby logo and Snake on them ! 20200420_171509.jpeg20200420_171454.jpeg20200420_113517.jpeg20200420_113458.jpeg20200420_091940.jpeg

My wheel bolt size is 4 x 98 but 4 x 100 actually fit perfect. I did go to a tire retailer and talk to a pro before install.

Have ordered fender flares !

With only 2mm in it they do fit but over time the bolt or the wheel with get damaged or they can sit slightly off centre. Here in the uk we would fit them with “wobble bolts” which are wheel bolts where the collar can move to allow the wheel to centre but be perfectly secured without damaging the wheel or being off centre

I have 15" steelies for the winter with winter tires.

I have a set of Fiat 500 Sport 16" rims that are my actual summer rims, I don't like the rude on the factory 195 45 16 ultra low profile tires.

The new 14" 175 70 ride alot better. I am a country boy that likes backroads at 70mph !

That's what i want but right now take to long to get them. Shortly be able to go to store and get them.

Got new tires for when i get my rims back sat from being polished ! 20200505_190742.jpeg
