Hi everyone, i am new to the forum and need help with my fiat 500 2012.

I did remove camshaft sensor wiring from the connector and forget to write down or take pic. Of wires order.
Can any one take and send me pic. Of the camshaft sensor wiring,showing wiring order, or just tell me which wire goes with which pin number.

Pretty sure its a "Hall effect sensor" so its not polarised?

Thank you for ur reply, but this one is not cam sensor connector.
It should be three wire connector located on the top of the engin driver side as shown in the attachment.

I will work on the car this week, waiting for ur reply.

That as far as I know is the cam shaft sensor on the 1.2. It’s at the top just to the left and behind the oil filler cap.

My engin is 1.4, it might have different connector ( 3wire).
Anyhow thank you for your time.

1.4 16v?

I have a look at the one on my Tipo in the morning I'd think the wiring should be the same

Yes it it is 16v 1.4

This is the cam sensor for whick i need wiring order
The wires are orange white, gray white, and purple white

Any one can help.

Don't think that's the cam sensor the cam sensor is on top of the engine near to the spark plugs (at least on mine unless it was chaged between euro 5 and 6 engines) can just see it here at the top

Your engine looks different, mine is as attached, and the location of the cam sensor.

Anyhow thanks for ur reply,appreciated, hopefully anyone in this forum have same as mine engine and can help.

It is the 1.4 16v engine you have in your country isn't it
And not the multiair like the USA?

Completely different cylinder head to anything we have on a European 500
Also explains why the can sensor is where it it the multiair engine's doesn't use a Inlet cam

Try asking in the 500x section or grunde Punto as the engine's are used there in eu cars
