Hi guys and girls,
Just found this site and hopefully I will get some sound advice?
So here goes my mrs car is a fiat 500 sport twin air 105bhp.
I need to change the lower arms and top strut mounts,
I can do the job but I’m unsure if the lower arms are standard ie the same fit as the lounge/ pop (one fit all )

This is what I thought,
but after going into a fiat dealers parts department just to ask,
he reckons the lower arms are a certain type for the sport
And will only fit the sport and abarth?
(Rest of the suspension parts is standard across pop lounge sport model.
Confused now lol

I don’t really want to order the arms and they don’t fit.
Any ideas please i would be very great full

That’s what euro car parts said to me just now,
how would I know if they have these lights?
if they haven’t can I just put a standard set of arms on?

Or would the original oem arms on the car have a part number stamped into them?
Or a sticker that fells off years ago lol

Could of had the bumper off and done both sides the amount of time it’s taken me too workout what part to order lol

If it has standard "lights" up to about 2016, not projector style(with a lens in front) look at the bulb, if it has a silver or black tip then they,re standard halogen so standard arms, you could also remove the bulb, if its just got 1 contact on the end then again its normal. HID take a second or so to get to full brilliance and go out "instantly" and are generally whiter in colour, they were an expensive option if not already fitted.

So if I was to put standard arms let’s say from a pop,
In theory the car being a sport and a bit more nippy
Would it not need better bushes?
poly bushes are not a option either as they feel as bad a ride as a worn out bush lol mrs would think I didn’t fix it for her

No such thing as pop suspension
The suspension varies only by engine type and not by trim level

I'll stick my neck out and say all cars have the same arm even those with HID lights with the exception that cars with HID lights, the arm has a hole in the arm for the level sensor here,
