I have the fiat 500 twinair turbo 2015, i have in the recent past engaged the cruise control , but don't know how i did that, can anyone give me some advice please ?

typecastboy might know. Having seen a video involving MES software, suggests could be activated but you need to order the stalk.

Wasnt factory fitted.

But either attempt to enable it in the ECU
With a new switch..

Or pay for a new kit to be fitted.

Yes, I've seen it in the menus in MES where you can enable or disable different systems. Once enabled you have to do a proxy alignment.

Im interested if it could be added to my 2014 500s Twinair.

See if the ECU supports cruise..

If not it will be around £500 for a company to fit their own system.

I shall have to look into trying to find a ECU scanner that would show me. Cheers ?

Oooo go on please enlighten me. Still learning about the 500. Despite owning a Punto 60, Stilo Active and Panda 100hp

You can 100% activate it on the body computer or the engine computer or both, whichever one it is that works it. Surely though there must be more to it than fitting a new clockspring and stalks and then activating it in MES?

I can't see it being much more tbh. But not so sure about the lower steering column surround if it accomodates the extra stalk.

You need a clutch switch too.

The car has wiring in place.. you just get the devices fitted.. and use MES to get it configured.

Ive had 3 cars now that
'should support cruise'

But dont.. ECU spec is the issue

The grandes have the clutch switch wired and ready though (frustratingly..)

Panda TA.. supposedly not an option

Panda :500 not viable until 2017

My latest Grande is a better spec. Much more kit - toys.. So Im hopeful

I just got the same whisper switch with cruise control. But i don't have CC connector in my car (Fiat 500 2017). Where can I find BSI wiring schematics to know the right pins goes to Cruise Control switcher? Also Im interesting in Rain/Light sensor wiring

Im trying to solve the same problem.

I have schematics for cruise control. I already installed new cruise control switch, connect all wirings and activate cruise/limiter via MultiEcuScan. But cruise control still doesn't work.

There is an assumption that a different firmware туув to be installed on the engine control unit. But where to find it?

If someone already has factory preinstalled cruise/limiter on Fiat 500 Lounge 1.4 2016, share your VIN please, I can try to find firmware for engine control unit.

Have you installed a new clutch switch? I don't know about the 500 but in other cars I have retro-fitted cruise to it has needed either a new brake switch or clutch switch.

I've installed new original switch. Im interested to put original Fiat cruse/limiter, so I try to activate this function in body computer.

Very interested in this post. Have a 2016 S4 595. The crusie control shows on MES as disabled. I bought the stalk as above. There are 3 wires off the stalk. I removed the cowlings and looked for a plug and play loom but can't see it. Perhaps it's not there. I'm not great at electrical circuits but assume the 3 wires need to plug in somewhere to loom, or patched in somewhere obvious. Would love to see the OEM wiring for this. Am aware I may not have the correct TFT for it also. Wonder did fiat hide the loom or is it just not present in a build from may 2016.

Any info would be great here. I'd love to get the OE setup running. Got the lower cowling too to fit the crusie stalk in too.
