Only a minor issue but the boot no longer unlocks off the central locking. It still opens if I press the boot button on the fob hence it's no big deal, but I would like it to unlock along with the front doors. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

Edit: Just had a thought. Could this be configured via the dashboard menu?

Most likely the hatch wiring (worth checking). Otherwise it could be that the rods inside the latch have come out and need poking back in.

If you take the mechanism off, then take the locking part out of the chrome surround, you may see too thin metal rods that have come out.

It could also be the microswitch.

This is quite a common thing.

As above, hatch wiring or microswitch , Don't leave this it may get worse, I was specifically asked by the mot guy if all doors could be opened by hand, our 10 year old car still works off the handle once working you should use this not the remote

I finally have a bit of spare time, thanks to Covid-19, so used it to check out the lock mechanism. There are no rods so it wasn't that (obviously) but I did find one of the plastic locating pins on the microswitch has broken off. I was able to drill a small hole where the pin should be to take a self-tapping screw and the switch is now rock solid. YES! The boot now opens using the handle.
