Guys when I’m trying to connect to my engine with mes I’m getting this!? It doesn’t matter what control module I try either I’m using yellow cable with my modified obd2 is that right? What am I missing

Did it tell you to connect the yellow cable, if it didn't just try with your modified OBD2 cable first...

Then as above, don't use any adaptor cable until the initial connection is made.

Yup all seems ok in f9 I’m trying to re write mileage now and all I’m getting is failed to execute... I used it on my last fiat 500 and I managed it .... it did say latency too high in f9 does that mean anything?

My fault ... I forgot to convert the miles to km ... derr!! Proxy alignment done & correct mileage now [emoji23]

As others have said, but I was feeling left out. No yellow adapter for the engine.

38400 bit rate could be a problem. See my post above with link to my setup procedure that seems to work reliably every time. Needs 115200 bit rate to work reliably with my ELM.
