Hello everyone
I got Fiat 500 0.9L TwinAir POP year 2011. Recently I got the orange triangular exclamation mark coming up on irregular basis. I had it checked by private garage they change the oil switch sensor as this error came up on the diagnostic. They also changed the oil and the filter on the car. After 4 days same light came up on the dashboard and and disappeared. It comes up and disparate on irregular basis. You could be driving for 100 miles and nothing happens no light comes up and you could one day drive for 6 miles and that light comes up and stays on and then disappear. The car drives normally no problem with speed or anything else and no other light on dashboard comes up. Please note that the picture of the dashboard isn’t the actual picture but just used to point towards the light that comes up. The location of that light is bottom left.

The point the light comes on there will be a message on the dash but only for 10seconds do you have your DRLS turned on or the lights on when it happens?

Thank you for your reply. unfortunately no message comes up, it goes on and off whether the DLR is on or off. Doesn’t make a difference.

I strongly suspect "The rear hatch wiring" problem this is where the wires go into the boot lid, snap and short out.
It could be a loose bulb in your DRLS too but not if they're switched off.
Thanks, will check it tomorrow and let you know. But wouldn’t oil pressure switch refer to something that has to do with the Switch itself?

If the oil pressure was too low then the red oil warning light would come on, a much more serious issue, the twin air is however very oil fickle, it must have the right grade and spec, whilst don't rule it out I suspect the warning isn't the oil pressure switch.
Take a look at this post, it could well be this https://www.fiatforum.com/500/423837-maybelline-has-thrown-hissy-fit.html?p=4063061
