As some of you know I upgraded my speedo to the tft it works just fine and thanks to a few of you I’ve learned and done proxy alignment myself I was just wondering if the tft could be the reason for my loss of media menu on the steering wheel controls? And the fact the track listings are missing from the display..... it worked fine before I swapped it over ... but worked fine after the swap (for 24 hours) I’m only asking as I’m still learning about the operating systems and obviously I’m not as clued up as some of you![emoji23] I know there is an issue with the tft not being recognised by the onboard computer..... or something like that ... could that be it? Or is that a totally different system to blue n me! I’m looking for a fix failing that it’s a toss up weather to swap back to the old orange cluster.......

I think it’s unlikely as they are not really connected as such. Might be worth plugging into MES again and just looking at each ECU and see if there’s any new errors. Are sure there are no blue and me errors especially. Reset any codes and maybe even try doing the proxy again. It will tell you it’s all fine and won’t allow you to if it doesn’t need to but it’s worth a look.

I cracked it last night yep your right I ran MES and changed the setting for the display from comfort line 1 to four lines (or similar) and it worked!! I was nervous this morning ?thought it might have reverted but all good it’s reading artist/album and the menu works on steering wheel I’m not locked out!! ? it even scrolls to give full artist/song title! I think I can stop obsessing FINALLY
