Ok so been to dealer today for alignment between my 09 car & my 2014 digital speedo ...took em hours and the end result??! He said the car computer not talking correctly to speedo..... also the mileage has stopped flashing but instead of it being the higher end 50000+ what it should be!! it’s at the lower end 29000+ is this gonna effect my mot in jan??

It should not be a problem for the MOT, they just gotta note down what it is at the time.
I swapped out the dash on my mondeo that had 125,000 miles on it for a second hand flea bay job that had 95,000 and it was not a problem for the next MOT but if you were to sell the car then the on-line MOT checker will show up the discrepency.

Somebody may be around your area and be able to have a try at doing it with multiecuscan (a consumer version of the dealer software)

Can't guarantee it will work but should be able to correct the millage if it will (assuming it need increasing to match what the car has done?

If the millage is no longer flashing it have thought the proxi alignment was successful?
You'd have thought they would have corrected the millage for you at least regardless?

I could understand if you asked them to reduce the millage but increase it?
Wonder what they do if they fit new Speedos to cars? I doubt they leave the the cluster on 0 miles

my mileage is over 50000 this one only 29000+ just goes to show never trust a dealership[emoji23]
