Bought a car alarm from fleabay before I pay for someone to fit it if I can find anyone that is ..... is it easy to fit? Comes with some instructions but was wondering if there was a step by step somewhere? As these instructions are basic [emoji23] it’s basically a horn a load of wires ... 2 black box’s one of which has the led & 2 fobs..... I know alarms are a bit obsolete I just prefer some extra piece of mind

Hi there - could be handy to post a link to the alarm that you purchased :)

Does not look too basic, nor to complex. However without experience of auto-electrics fitting of the alarm will likely result in false alarms and possible immobilisation of the car (usually at the worst time!).
In short I would get a local garage to quote for fitting. Should take a few hours, maybe 3 at the most.

Otherwise you can fit the alarm and only wire up what you need such as the flashing light which is a good deterrent and the shock sensor which looks like it just plugs into the main unit.

All the best,
Steve
