Hi

This is my first post. Sorry I have not yet posted in the Newbie forum.

I recently received a Fiat 500 1.2 S (2019 plate but 2018 model). I rented 2 Fiat 500 cars for almost 11 months in total and liked them very much.

However, I think I rented the Lounge version. I now have the Fiat 500 1.2 S which is much darker inside, no sunroof and most importantly VERY uncomfortable front seats. These are Sports / Racing seats.

I have a Lease for 2 years and can only return the car early at a large cost. The seats are very uncomfortable and make me ache for a long time after sitting in the car. I have tried a rug and cushions but not much help.

Any suggestions? Thanks

If you are not too bothered about matching interior design, you could try to find reasonably priced standard seats, swap them for the time of lease and change back at the end. 1hr effort each way.

They give me upper back pain after about an hour, shame s they look really nice! Not found a solution yet other than to make sure the back is a bit more upright than I might normally have it.

I suppose that every one's back is different and the shape of sport seats just don't suit yours. I have standard seats and don't find them comfortable so intend to get some sports seats.

Did a similar thing in my Fiesta, big improvement.

Thanks Mike. Actually having persevered with a cushion and towel, it is much less uncomfortable, which is good. Although trying just a bigger cushion yesterday on its own was less comfortable. Maybe it's what you get used to over time. My friend had a similar issue with leg pain with the sports seats in his car (I don't think a Fiat), that went away after about a month. The issue I have is my sides feel pushed in and my thighs ache and feel uncomfortable.

Interesting stevo123. My issue is my sides feel really uncomfortable but not so much now thanks. I don't really have back pain; although I do have the seat more upright than I have done before.

Thanks Southern. It's interesting to hear other people's experiences. I find the seat supports my back quite well, it is the width that feels very narrow and the seat pushes into my sides. Not as bad now though so hopefully will be okay eventually.
