I need one of these for a 2013 Sport where the Bluetooth buttons are not working on the steering wheel and MES tells me there’s no response from it.

Does anyone know whether the part numbers matter and whether they are cross compatible? I don’t want to take the old one out to read the part number only to have to put it all back together again, buy one and take it apart again to install the replacement.

I’ve comm need on threads on these myself and I know someone has been successful with a different part number but some more knowledge from anyone would be appreciated.

Its a car I recently sold so I can’t take the old one out and then sit there waiting to find a new one.

As far as I am aware there where only ever 3 blue and me modules.

The older 2006 - 2010 had two different types as there was one for vans that had buttons built into a trim panel on one end, then after 2010, my understanding is that all blue and me 2 modules where the same on all cars and vans, this is my understanding I have not heard any different but that doesn’t mean there are not different part numbers and serial numbers.

Thank you. Based on that I think I will take a chance.
