Don't forget even with something protective under the Stoplock it will mark the leather on the wheel. Disklok meant to have foam protection. Though again if want car that badly. Ghost immobiliser should keep it safe if destroy the visible things.

£300 though. I know the car is worth it but for a car I won’t keep more than a few months I don’t want to spend that much.

I tried it on my 500x too, doesn’t fit on that either. Going back to Amazon.

Have Ghost immobiliser and tracker put on it. And promote them in the ad when you sell and include in the price. Goudrons may have it off you. ?

I won't be buying another one, I'm very happy slumming it in my Romanian Roller!

I am told the Abarths are stolen via the OBD port, they hack in with some software and start them up without the need for the key.

I have seen OBD port relocation kits so it can be moved and hidden away, locks to shield the port it's self and dummy ports to fool the dirty feckers, these seems the stock aftermarket security device for other scumbag favourites like the Fiesta/Focus ST.

From the Abarth forums, it does seem like the Elite Pro fits over the steering wheel boss/airbag.

I see you only plan on keeping it a few months, I do hope you manage that long!

I hear from a local ex scumbag, who had their Abarth stolen shortly after mine went, there's a gang in South London targeting Abarths, ST's, GTi's and the likes, they appear to be operating sarf of the river and as far as Maidstone.

I was told where they park them up for a while in case they are fitted with trackers, I had a look recently in that area as it's not far from me and there does seem to be few ST's, GTi's and the likes dotted around an industrial estate and it's side roads, they don't seem to move for a week or so, then disappear.

I saw CCTV of an 18 plate 595 being stolen a few nights ago in Bexley. One scumbag went to the drivers door, clearly picking the lock. Took him about a minute bent down by the door. Once inside another scumbag can be seen in the drivers seat fiddling. Lights flash a few times, presumably as they are failing, all of a sudden it lights up and drives away. Less than 2 minutes. I don’t think they will see it again.

Worst part is you could call police and say there's a car being stolen right now
Probably tell you it ain't a priority and can't send anyone

Goudrons you could tell boys and girls in blue where this industrial estate is. You could be top informant.....

I think Chris hits the nail on the head.

If it doesn't involve lots of overtime shepherding a load of unwashed protesters in Parliament Square, they aren't that bothered.

So not true. Do you think police want to be in parliament square doing 19 hour shifts? No, they would rather be on their boroughs dealing with local crime.
