That’s what I was thinking but can’t see starter underneath.

Next thought is bonnet release cable, I know it comes from passenger side

Starter is at rear of engine.. strapped to back of gearbox / bell housing

On the 1.2

Diesel.. towards drivers wheel

TA.. dunno ( and I own 2..)

No packaged bank accounts??

Success by going underneath and opening bonnet?

Thinking battery is gone as car started ok with other battery on jump leads. Took leads off after a few mins and tried to start without any joy, starter just clicking like mad

Just need to sort door rod now

From my mk2 punto days.. where the bonnet release cables failed regularly

I didnt envy your task.. perhaps FIAT have actually learnt from it..

Be careful on the door rod, very easy to snap the plastic holder it sits in at the bottom

Trying to see if AAA or RAC whatever it’s called in your country if they can open the door with their inflatable wedges to pop open the door so you can jump the car there is no physical way to open the trunk it’s all electric, make sure you’re turning the key in the drivers door the proper way.
