When my wife has been queuing in heavy traffic the car gets stuck in one gear or you cannot even find a gear. Once you have stopped for say 10 minutes everything is back to normal. But give it another 20 minutes you are back to square one. Could it be gearbox fluid??? Please help [emoji3][emoji3]

I can change gear when I turn off the engine. It is getting worse now and is effecting the brakes as well [emoji15]

Check/replace the clutch hydraulics if that fails new clutch everything points to the clutch or it's control.
The brakes IF there's an issue is a separate one.
I would suggest the whole car has some tlc/investigation/servicing?

Pedal pivot shaft can affect both pedals.

Clutch hydraulics may cause the first symptoms, but should not affect brakes.

Get upside down under the dash and have a good look at the pedals, how they fit and pivot. Something may be loose or seizing.
For a real challenge, get your head in while the wife presses the pedals.
