Hi, about a year and a half ago, we bought a 2015, 500 twin air (105bhp) with 12,500 miles on it. Just lately and now with just under 27,000 miles, it had symptoms which included a rougher than usual idle, a stiff gear change and worst of all, a bad vibration at about 3200 rpm coming through the bulkhead, centre console area.
After a look through previous posts, it seemed the flywheel centre bearing was the culprit.
I ordered a full LUK clutch and flywheel kit. Along with correct oil, filter, spark plugs and gearbox oil. (Front bumper off to get to bolts through cross member).
Luckily, the shaft that goes through the bearing only had a very slight burr which could be sanded off.
End result is as good as new. Phew, happy days!
Ps, no idea why pics are sideways?
