One of the Koni FSD struts I fitted six years ago has failed spectacularly. Koni have kindly given me two new struts which I have been trying to fit for the past week, the weather hasn’t helped! Anyway, when I finally got the strut off the car and dismantled I found that the upper spring plate was very rusty and would need a lot of work before refitting. New Fiat parts are £16 each but Ford Ka ones are half this price, does anyone know if they are the same? https://ford.7zap.com/en/car/62/no/0/1876/16805/72990/#5A306

The ultimate goal would be a Fiat to Ford table for service parts.
Any savings would help keep these ratters on the road longer

The Fiat part number is 51857576 and the Ford number is 1680335. The nut/spacer that fits on top of the big rubber top mount also has a Ford alternative number 1680443 as opposed to Fiat 51857579.

Looking at Euro Car Parts at a 500 1.2 verses KA 1.2 there are a number of shared components.
Disks, Pads, drums, shoes, cylinders, cam belt, alternator, starter etc.
Obviously they are all the same price on ECP as they are the same part number.
