Hi all, I'm new to this so please forgive me if this has already been covered.
I recently bought a 2014 Fiat 500 Lounge for my wife but couldn't fathom out why on some occasions the stop start would work and not on others. I know that for it to work certain criteria needs to be met such as battery condition, temperature etc; however, after a while I was confident that this was not the problem and accidentally stumbled on a solution.
When initially starting the engine turn the ignition key on for say 4 seconds (enough time for the dash board lights to settle) then turn the key to start the engine. If I follow this procedure it work every time. Well it works for me and certainly worth a try if you are experiencing the same issue.
I hope this helps
