Yesterday I noticed under my driver seat a lose white plastic cable-like.

It's attached to something on one end so when I pull it, it doesn't move. It is not a electrical cable since there's nothing inside. It's all plastic, flexible etc.

Any ideas what it might be?





My car is the new Fiat 500. Currently is under a year old.

Looks like a cable tie (which is supposed to hold the real cables under the seat

Picture link is broken but the cables for airbag and seatbelt clasp are secured to the base of the seat with a cable tie so if that’s what it looks like it might well be that.

Doesn't look like a cable tie to me, almost looks like plastic piping like would be stitched in to the edges of seats to stop them wearing so easily.

No that is not the cable tie I was talking about. No idea what that is.
