Seriously though, assuming it's a digital dash you should be able to do it with MultiECUScan, but I'd be inclined to ask on their forums before you go out and buy the kit.
If it's an analog dash (which I doubt), you can get mechanical convertors.

The section "Understanding Your Instrument Panel" describes how to toggle the display between mph and kph using the Uconnect system.
I've attached the relevant pages (144-147) below.
I don't have any first-hand experience of the 500e so I can't speak for the accuracy of the above but I hope it will be of help.

This is easy. Hit the menu button to the right of the console behind the wheel when the car is on to get to settings. Then scroll down to units, system units, and then pick metric. All done! Side note: I have a 2013 500e, this might be different on the newer ones.
