My fiat 500 instrument cluster OEM 735624421 is flickering, sometimes nothing on it.

I have been to a repair shop and it can't be repaired.
My question is do I have to use the same OEM number or is it possible to use a different OEM number then the original one?

You can use any one. Even a new style colour LCD one.you can buy one on eBay for around £50. Just make sure you get one with less miles on it than your car has done. You can up the mileage but not down for obvious reasons.

Yes you can. You don’t have to but ideally match it to your car.
