So the wife and my son have broken both the door handles on the wife's 500, needless to say I am mad, It's not the front bit that moves in and out but rather the rear part that looks to be fixed to the door, I see that you can get repair kits and I wondered is there maybe a guide that would show me what to do and does anyone have maybe a link to what repair kit I should buy. Any help would be great as the MOT is due and I need to get it done, thanks..

You will need to buy the entire new handle. About £25 new on eBay. The lock will have to be removed from the drivers side too.

I thought you said it was the whole handle, sorry I didn’t read your post properly.

If it’s just hinge end, then yes, hinges are about a tenner on eBay. When you undo the bolt in my video that holds that end in, it will allow you to get a screwdriver through the hole to undo the Philips screw holding the old hinge on. 5 minute job.

Got a couple of hinges now ordered, thanks for your help I now think I can fix them.
