Hi all

I have wanted a Fiat 500 ever since I passed my driving test. I am really interested in the 500S module from 2014. The only thing I’m concerned about is the 1.2 engine issues, hill starts going up hills etc, which according to the research affected models from around this year

. Silly question, but have these issues mainly been resolved in the cars? I don’t really know that much about cars and I have been driving a piece of crap so not sure if I would notice this difference!

Any help anyone could give would be most appreciated!!!!

There hasn't been a lot of feedback on this issue lately, so it may have been resolved. Our 1.2 500c is fine, but that is a 65 plate. The only way to really be sure is to find a hill on your test drive, stop halfway up it, then try pulling away. The fault that has been reported should be really obvious if it's present.

I think it was all sorted with a software update.
