Hi

Just a quick question regarding my 68 plate pop. When the back windscreen heater is on, should this also work for my wing mirrors? I.e - should defrosting the back window also defrost the wing mirrors?

Every other car I've had does this and my mum's 500x does, but the only way I seem able to defrost my wing mirrors is scraping them.

If yours has heated mirrors (they don't all), then yes they switch on with the rear demister.

Do you know if the wires are there but no heated glass fitted? Ie if heated glass bought could they be retro fitted? I too miss this feature on our old pop, I've wonders if they're just "tucked up" my Mazda has unused connectors.

Pop the cover off under the mirror the connector should be under there and see how many wires go into the multiplug connector I think there's 5 on a heated one? Not 100% of top of my head should be able to see if there more on the connector then the mirror
