Im new to the forum so please move to the correct section if required.

I have just bought my daughter a used Fiat 500 S 2016.
It has a touch screen with Dab radio and unconnect but I cannot see a way of using apple car play.
Looking online there seems to be a lot of confusion as to whether they have it or not.
I have gone onto the driveuconnect. com and entered her vin number to see if there is a firmware upgrade but the site does nothing.

Can anybody help and if it doesnt support carplay is there a way of uprading/changing the head unit?

I seem to think Apple Carplay and Android auto were/is a cost option on most models. (£150?)

I was offered it on my Abarth last year. but seeing I still use a old Bakerlite phone with a big round dial on the front, I decided against it.

My daughter bought a 2018 model and carplay was an option. The headunit with the bigger screen (there are two options) is the one with carplay.
