Technical Replacement stereo

I upgraded my front speakers to some Sony xs-fb1730 speakers and the head unit to a Sony MEX-4200bt over Xmas. It's made a great difference. Tweaking the custom eq settings helps massively. Including the I. Stall kit with steering wheel control module the cost was £130 total.

Im very pleased altho I'm having issues with the AM reception.

The pioneer in the link looks like something I could be interested in. A little over my budget though. Wouldn't the flip up screen interfere with the heater blowers?

You can buy a converter for double din which moves the heater vents to the side but a single din with flip up screen has no option I don’t think.

Has anyone created a guide/ You Tube vid to installing the connects 2 double din facia in a 500? Interested to know what modification you need to do to the heater vents? I am thinking of installing a pioneer touch screen unit..anyone know what trim I need to remove (and how) to get to the handbrake wiring so I can patch in the safety control (Green wire) . Thanks

Never seen one but I think they just plug into the existing vents just moving the outlet to the side.
