Hi,

Wondering if it could be enough to replace the oil pan gasket or could it be something else? See attached picture, its the oil pan to the left.

Saw this when I supposed to change oil.

The car has a service on Thursday, changing time belt, water pump etc.

There is no gasket, it just uses sealant, which makes it very difficult to remove. In the UK sump pans regularly rust, particularly at the front where it is most exposed to stones and road dirt. I recently had to replace mine and used a cheap aftermarket sump. This was a big mistake as it would not seal at the end, so I had to replace it with a genuine item (not cheap). If it has rusted I would recommend protecting a new one with waxoil or similar.

Thank you guys, the car is a petrol model 69hk and its placed in Sweden, so its properly rust that has caused this since it looks a bit rusty. Now I just need to find a sump really fast.
