Trying to repair cable on the drivers seat tilt mechanism. I cannot remove the handle on top of the seat that activates the cable. I have removed the screw I can see and read that the other is under the trim and the handle should unclip to show the second screw, but try as I might I cannot remove the handle trim. Can you please help thanks Dave u.

Slightly different issue, our drivers seat has started making a terrible creaking noise metal on metal looking underneath looks like the seat base can lift up like the passenger to access the storage underneath is this correct ? as I cannot seem to pull it upwards to make it much easier to get to the mechanism to grease or tighten up.

I would take it out and have it upside down. Only 4 Allen bolts. Disconnect the cables first and the Earth terminal from the battery obviously.
