Hello !

I want to swap my Fiat 500 1.2i 2010 manual gearbox with a low millage gearbox from a Fiat 500 1.2i 2012 manual.

Will it fit bolt on? What are some details to look for when buying a second hand gearbox considering its off the car?

I can provide VIN nr of my car and of the 2012 gearbox if it helps

Reason for swap: my gearbox is rattling/grinding in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear under load. Tried changing the clutch bearing and the oil. No luck. Service told me I should change the box.

All the boxes are the same for the 1.2 afaik.

I really wish I had taken the one out of mine that I just broke
