Hi guys, I'm new here, I've got a Fiat 500 Lounge and I was wondering if any of you knew of a cheaper roof rack than the Thule? I'm going on a road trip around England at the end of the summer with my girlfriend and her husky so don't think there'll be enough space in the car.

I've considered a boot rack but don't know if I feel comfortable not being able to see out my back window being a new driver and all.

I seen the HandiRack one but am not quite sure whether it'll work and be good?? The pictures say it'll fit a three door hatchback but don't want to buy anything and it not work out.

It’s not really advisable to put a roof rack on the lounge model as they have a far lower capacity than a normal metal roof.

You can get a Thule roof rack for the 500, but the maximum carrying capacity is only 50kgs

Are you sure your girlfriend and her Husky will be happy on the roof rack, lets hope it doesn't rain
