Hi all,

Back with yet another problem with my missus' Fiat 500c...

We can't unlock the boot,

It will not release with either the fob or the handle. The fob still works for the doors.

It has had the cable replaced under warranty with a longer one a while ago.

This cable appears to be in good condition with no obvious signs of damage.

The number plate light still works (this didn't work before when the other cable was replaced)

I have replaced the latch with a new one, no difference.

Testing the 4 pin connector to the latch I get 12v on 1 pin and nothing on the others.

Any idea where to check next?

Go through the roof calibration sequence?

Yes, definitely try the roof initialization, especially if the battey has been disconnected at some point. This page is from the Manual Supplement for the 500C.
