Hi Guys, bought my wife a 500 Colour Therapy 2013. It doesn't come with any aux port or Bluetooth, which she would like.

I have bought the aux cable from eBay and removed the Radio HU and plugged it into the back.

I have now realised that I cannot seem to get the Radio to switch to AUX channel. Radio is Bosch.

I have tried a blank CD which also didn't work.

Has anyone any idea of how to program or activate the AUX option?

Thanks

Aux is disabled on the Bosch units, its the Blaupunkt units that have the Aux feature as in the earlier cars like our 59 plate. A possible option is to replace the head unit with and aftermarket one with all the features you need you may loose the dash display in the process and requires greater knowledge of car radio installation.

You need a connects2 CD emulator. I can pm you a link if needed as the moderator has restricted them..great.
I used one which I still had from an old Alfa 147 as it had line inputs too as well as the iPod input. Bought a car Bluetooth audio device from eBay and a ground loop isolator to stop interference.

Took the glovebox out and installed the whole heap of wires and adapter behind that.
