Hi my owners manual has no information as to what fuse does what and my car is without an MOT because the rear fog light doesnt work. The bulb is ok Ive checked it but I cannot check the fuse as I dont know which one it is. Ive called 4 main dealers and not one of them can tell me either. please help. My car is a 2011 500 lounge

Which probably means removing the battery in order to be able to get the cover off the fuse box

Don’t think you need to remove the battery
Depends on your engine i guess on my 1.3 there just not room to get the cover off without sliding it sideways to where the battery is even then it says very tight fit
1.2 it disconnects at the front I think.

So, with the head lights on, when you press the fog light button, do you get the tell tale light on, on the dash?
Try fuse 49(passenger compartment) my book seems to show fuse 30 is for the front, rear, (via main fuses 1,3) then fuse 49 for the rear fog.
Test the bulb to confirm its good don't go by eye?
Thanks everyone. I tried f30 as per the same diagram I found online but that location has no metal pins in it in my model maybe meaning i dont have any front fogs which i dont. its just a dead slot in my fuse board. Just to add to the discussion I can get the cover off no problem without taking anything else out of the way, it just slides off.

yes I get the light on the dash to say its on. One of the main dealers called me back and said it has no fuse as it is powered through the body. That made no sense to me but they didnt want to have a discussion as im sure they would rather i book it in for an expensive diagnostic test.

Try a meter and see what voltage if any is at the bulb holder, it could be a broken wire too similar to the rear hatch wiring issue?
