Hello

Our 500s steering wheel has gone out of alignment, if we keep it dead center the car drives to the left so we have to Keep the wheel turned slightly to the right. We haven't hit or kerbed the car, so was wondering can it be recalibrated or is it steering wheel off to realign. We have American appliances at work where we have to calibrate the gear box and motor via a test procedure on the module so was hoping something similar can be done.

Cheers

If it's off, it's off, it's still a mechanical system at the end of the day so it will need to go to a wheel alignment place and see what they say is up?

Do not remove the steering wheel.

You haven't indicated age or mileage, but you have either been in a pot hole or a suspension component has worn.

Get the tracking checked, but make sure the rack is centred (to keep your Ackerman angles correct)and check for top mount wear and wishbone bush failure.

Thanks for the advice milage is just over 7000 miles and it's about 14 months old. It's going into Fiat on Monday for more gearbox problems so I'll get them to check this all out at the same time.
