Hi, hope someone can help.
Have bought a fiat 500 multijet which has a few issues shall we say!
needed a new bumper and the climate control motors dont work which has been a dash off job to figure out. Will post a how to on that when i get it all back together.
I drove it home from wales without issue, about 60 miles.
But now i have noticed that there are 2 large connectors in the engine bay by the battery which are not connected. One is blue and one is black.
Think they are to the radiator fan body and a lead which has a connector on which is also attached to the radiator fan body, but i dont know which goes where. Can anyone help and point out which connector goes where? Much appreciated if you can.

One is the power to the fan and the other goes to the resistor. Without looking and from memory I don’t think one fits in the other.

I thought they would be different but looking at each plug they appear physically identical. Just dont want to fry anything by putting the wrong one in.

The natural position of them should tell you which ones which. I don’t think they are the same but I’m putting my new front end on this afternoon so I’ll take a couple of pics.

In all my years of interaction shall we call it, manufactures usually ensure that 'wrong' plugs cannot be inserted into 'wrong' socket either by physical size and shape or with a subtle lug or notch on what looks like the same plug. Also the length of the cable/loom supplying the said connections should be an indicator as they are never tight and consequently never over long ( cost implications ).
I would try inserting plugs with engine off / key out or even dis-connect battery negative terminal ( no tools required as far as I remember) for complete piece of mind and you might find they only insert properly in one combination.
