On my 2013 500, I have noticed that the edge of the drivers seat is going bare. Are my headrests removable, does anyone know ? If not , can anyone recommend any seat covers please.

Just buy some secondhand seats?

That's not good.

I'd expect a car's upholstery to be good for at least 100k, unless abused.

Unfortunately its now 4 years old, so out of whatever airy fairy warranty was there !
I browsed t'interweb last night and have decided to get these. 2 RED FRONT VEST T-SHIRT CAR SEAT COVERS PROTECTORS from Amazon. Only 14.99, but should give some protection for a while.

Have you covered loads of miles? My red cloth/ivory leatherette seats were still perfect when I sold the car after 6 years and 45,000 miles. I know there were various other coverings though.

Just passed 40,000. I'll try and get a picture later. It's about halfway up on the door side of the drivers seat back.

You can pick up individual complete seats or an entire set really cheap on eBay. Take out and replace in less than an hour. You could always get a more modern interior or a sport one.

I'll give the dog another 6 months or so then maybe see how the replacement vests are holding up.

I think the wear at that point depends on how far forward you have your seat and also how you get in and out of the car, if you brush against it every time then it’ll wear earlier obviously

Will 500s seats fit my 500 ? Are their any restrictions on replacements. I assume that if I get split rear seats then I may need the fixing bar as well ? TIA.
