Hi,
Brakes are a bit spongey so I want to change the fluid.
I believe the clutch uses the same reservoir, so I'd like to flush that through too.
I gather from another thread that the clutch bleed nipple is under the battery tray.

If I use a pressure bleeder, will slackening off the clutch bleed nipple flush the fluid through?

Or, should I forget the pressure bleeder, and get someone to pump the clutch pedal?

Will the slave cylinder at the clutch pedal (??) magically refill?

I've only got half an understanding of this job, and there's no service manual for the twinair. So, should I get a garage to do this? (I'm prone to despair when things go wrong :) )

Cheers, Pete.

Handbrake's fine.
It passed it's MOT 6 weeks ago, with no advisories.
I wasn't happy with an emergency stop the other day though, and it's a S/H motor, so previous servicing is an unknown quantity.
I can probably wait till spring, but I'm keen to do it myself, unless I could end up messing the clutch up.
I always save a hundred quid when I fix things myself, and I get to have a close look at everything.
Cheers.

Bar possibly a shared fluid reservoir (separate on 1.2) the greatest issue I forsee is snapped off bleed nipples which would then require new caliper or wheel cylinder spray them with "plusgas " then gently try moving them? if they move fine if they snap off then no issue just look up new parts, www.brakeparts.co.uk
