In addition to a recent post on here about the climate control problems these cars suffer with I thought I would create another post with a bit more detail. We are a fiat specialist based in Southampton hampshire, we particularly spend a lot of time resolving the more costly repairs on the 500 to try to make them more affordable to repair. We are trying out a new repair for the climate control when they only blow cold air. Anybody that has suffered this fault will know how expensive this can be to have resolved. Some dealers are quoting up to £1700. We are trying out an in place repair which I am willing to do the first one for £150 inc vat if successful. If it’s not a succes I wouldn’t charge anything but I am highly confident this will work and actually be better than the original design. If anybody would like to give this repair a try please feel free to contact me through here or via our website www.smallcarservices.co.uk which also has all of our other contact details on.

There is a good chance yours is just stuck on hot at the moment but it’s likely this repair will fix the problem you have with yours as well. If you could bring the car to us we could diagnose it at least, but probably fix it at the same time

I like the look of your business! Clicked on your website to check location (without properly reading your post) and got quite excited when I saw 'Botley Road' on the map - my workplace is actually on the Botley Road in Oxford! Then I quickly realised that you're based in Southampton :-(

Sounds like you offer a great service - hope your climate control fix proves successful.

So, will you be coming to the supersausage tomorrow? Meet at Pear Tree Park & ride at 9am. Easy to find us, spot the orange Panda.

Unfortunately I can’t make any meets for a while, the garage takes up a huge amount of time and we have a 6 month old at the moment so the rest of my time is there but won’t be forever hopefully. Might get some time in the next year or so. Definitely up for it when I get time though

I was the guinea pig for this fix..... it works perfectly. If you have a climate control problem with a 500 or Panda please do get in touch with Dean at small car services in Bishops Waltham near Southampton
He has over 20 years experience with Fiat Cars so knows what he is talking about. Save yourself a load of time and money.
