Hoping someone can help me out after trawling the internet for days with no joy.

I've recently purchased a Fiat 500s 2017 with uconnect installed. However, it does not have maps. I understand this is something that would have to be requested when purchased from manufacturer, but I was wondering if there was a way to upgrade the device to include maps or to pay for it to be installed.

Anybody know if that's possible?

I asked the very same question after buying mine in 2016 and was told it was a factory fit as there is an antenna in the roof aerial mount and its a different display / head
Its the one option I wished I had opted for.

I'm a technophobe but apparently the best use for the phone cradle is a sim free old smartphone with a Nav app. If a stubby usb cable available for said phone to charge it, even better. I can fit a sat nav in my cradle (just) with an mp3 usb lead to power it. :idea:

That's the annoying thing - I have no where to put my phone otherwise I'd just use that. Suppose I'll just buy a phone cradle and give up.

I can connect to uConnect live and I'm surprised there's no way to get a navigation app or upgrade
